Dearest followers!

I understand that I and my co-mod are definitely not the most active blog runners ever— we do have our own lives to take care of. So most of what we can do now is reblog posts and publish submissions! Posting is slow in general so even reblogs tend to be scarce now— meaning submissions are really great! We’ve actually gotten a few before and I really want to thank everyone for their efforts in helping contribute to this blog!

There is something I’d like to address though.

I do try to make sure all my reblogs and posts are properly sourced to the original artist (in terms of fanart). By that, I mean I source all original posts as properly as possible, and I won’t reblog unsourced/improperly sourced things.

The same goes for submissions!!!

It’s great that you guys want to submit things for us to post, and we really do appreciate it! But I really want you guys to make sure you properly source your submission before giving it over to us! Unless what you’re posting is something original that you’ve done or is official art (anime, manga, or otherwise), please source properly! We won’t post anything that’s not sourced properly. It’s really disrespectful towards the original artists if you don’t credit them, and I’m sure no one wants to bum them out.

If you don’t know who the original artist is, there are resources you can use to source! I personally only know two, so if anyone has any other resources please let  one of us know!

SauceNAO is pretty straightforward and easy to use!

Google Images has a reverse searching option, which is pretty useful— though you may have to dig in order to find the original post.

Additionally, danbooru or zerochan or anything of the like are NOT proper sources, so please don’t use them. Ever.

PS. If either mod slips up from now on, because I want to make this a stricter policy, please message this blog or one of us, so that we can amend it!
